Bryce wanted to practice his "Jedi moves" before the party started.
Misty worked hard getting ready for the party. We had the party in our backyard. Even though we were in the shade the entire party, it was still over 100 degrees.
The younglings loved the costumes that Misty had for all of them. This is a picture of the younglings with the Death Star, Millenium Falcon, and an X-wing fighter. (R2-D-2 is on the back)
Jedi Ranks: Members of the order progress through four to six tiers of rank, at times referred to as levels.
- Jedi Youngling/Initiate
- Jedi Padawan
- Jedi Knight
- Jedi Master
- Jedi Council Member
- Jedi Grand Master
Flight training was first. The younglings took turns racing the spaceships back and forth to the Death Star. Of course, the Millenium Falcon won. With their flight training behind them, they have now advanced to be Jedi Padawans. Will the padawans obey orders? Our next trainings will test them.
The padawans then played "Vader and Yoda" (red light green light). Some of the padawans did not understand the game, but they soon caught on and obeyed orders.
Another test of obedience was a fun game was "Yoda Says" (Simon Says)
Now that the young padawans have proven they are worthy of the Jedi rank, they took on the death star. After everyone had a couple of turns at destroying the death star, it finally exploded and candy was showered all over the universe.
The kids all had fun and filled up on cupcakes and ice cream. Misty even made little lightsabers and big lightsabers (pretzels dipped in blue, green, and red chocolate) for the jedis.
Bryce loved his party, but for him to advance to become a Jedi Master he needs to train a Padawan Learner. Any volunteers.....?

You look so great as a Jedi! Columnist John Jenson, you did a fabulous job "covering" the story.....you have a great of writing. Misty the music was PERFECT---and the entire Party--costumes, games, invites, Pinneata, treats, etc.etc. were superb!! Bryce will NEVER forget his 5th birthday. Way to go Mom and Dad.....you pulled off another successful Memory...and even in 100 degree heat! Love Mom & Dad "B"
Happy Birthday Bryce! That was such a fun party. Cole loved it, and fell asleep on the ride home. After he woke up, (he still had on the Jedi outfit), he said, "go to Bryce house?"
What fun parents you are, to make such fun memories for Byrce! And what creativeness went into that! Thanks again, for inviting Cole, it was fun to come and celebrate with you!

That party looked like the BOMB Bryce! You are one lucky Jedi....or something....anyways way to go mom and dad for pulling off an incredible show...the music is a nice touch as well!
Makes me tired just looking through all the pictures. I know Bryce loved every minute of it.
